Dr. Linda Tao

Dr. Linda Tao believes that exceptional medicine begins with understanding the whole person — not simply treating disease. Over more than three decades in academic cardiology and integrative medicine, she has come to see chronic illness not as a collection of isolated symptoms, but as the result of complex interactions among genetics, environment, lifestyle, and physiology. That perspective shapes everything about how she practices.

A triple board-certified physician and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health, Dr. Tao has spent her career building bridges — between conventional medicine and integrative approaches, between rigorous science and compassionate care, and between patients and the answers they've often spent years searching for. She partners closely with each patient to identify the underlying contributors to illness and develop personalized strategies that support long-term resilience and well-being.

She uses functional lab testing to uncover root causes at the cellular level, eliminating blind spots and personalizing your treatment. This might mean identifying chronic infections driving inflammation, or uncovering nutrient deficiencies that leave your mitochondria unable to produce the energy you need to feel good, think clearly, and function well day to day.

This approach puts you back in charge of your health—so you can move past the limitations of frustrating, persistent health concerns.
